These Referral Program Terms ("Program Terms") govern your participation in the IGNITE AI Refer a Friend program (the "Program"), operated by IGNITE AI ("IGNITE," "we," "us," or "our") from the United Kingdom. The Program is part of the IGNITE AI mobile application and related services (the "Service"). By participating in the Program—including by sharing a referral code, accepting a referral benefit, or claiming a reward—you agree to these Program Terms, our Terms and Conditions, and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not participate in the Program.
1. Relationship to other terms
These Program Terms supplement our Terms and Conditions. If there is a conflict between these Program Terms and the Terms and Conditions regarding the Program, these Program Terms control for that topic. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms and Conditions where applicable.
We may update these Program Terms by posting a revised version in the app and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued participation after changes take effect means you accept the revised Program Terms.
2. Eligibility
To participate as a referrer, you must have a valid IGNITE account in good standing and meet the eligibility requirements in our Terms and Conditions, including applicable age requirements.
The Program is intended for personal, non-commercial use. We may restrict eligibility by region, account status, payment history, or other criteria shown in the app. Employees, contractors, and agents of IGNITE, and their immediate family members, may be excluded where we say so in the app or by notice.
We may refuse, suspend, or terminate Program participation for any account that we reasonably believe violates these Program Terms, our Terms and Conditions, or applicable law.
3. How the Program works
Eligible referrers receive a personal promo or referral code (the "Referral Code") in the Service. You may share your Referral Code with friends and family through ordinary personal channels (for example messaging apps or email).
A person who creates a new IGNITE account and applies your Referral Code as instructed in the app (a "Referred User") may receive a referral benefit described in the app, and you may become eligible for a referral reward if the conditions in these Program Terms are met.
Availability of codes, benefits, and rewards may vary by region and over time. What you see in the app at the time of participation controls the current offer, subject to these Program Terms.
4. Benefit for the Referred User
Unless a different offer is shown in the app at the time of signup, a qualifying Referred User who correctly applies a valid Referral Code may receive seven (7) days of IGNITE Premium access at no charge (the "Referral Trial").
Trial length, Premium features included, and any auto-renewal or billing after the trial are shown at signup and are also governed by our Terms and Conditions (including the subscriptions section) and the applicable App Store or Google Play terms.
The Referral Trial is limited to one per person and one per eligible new account, unless we expressly state otherwise. Prior IGNITE users, prior Premium subscribers, and accounts that we determine are not genuinely new may be ineligible.
5. Referral reward for the referrer
Unless a different reward is shown in the app, you may earn a Referral Reward of five units in the currency of your region for each Qualified Referral: euro-area countries — EUR €5; United Kingdom and other pound-sterling regions — GBP £5; United States and other US-dollar regions — USD $5. All other regions default to USD $5. The amount and currency shown in the app for your region control the reward you can earn.
A "Qualified Referral" means a Referred User who: (a) is a natural person creating a genuinely new IGNITE account; (b) correctly applies your Referral Code during signup or as otherwise instructed in the app; (c) is not you, a member of your household creating a duplicate or related account for reward farming, or otherwise prohibited under these Program Terms; and (d) purchases and successfully pays for an IGNITE Premium annual plan using that Referral Code attribution, subject to any cooling-off, refund, chargeback, or cancellation rules that apply.
Purchases of weekly, monthly, or other non-annual plans do not qualify for the Referral Reward unless we expressly state otherwise in the app. Free trials, unpaid accounts, and cancelled or refunded annual subscriptions do not qualify.
Only one referrer may receive a Referral Reward for a given Referred User. If multiple codes are used or attribution is unclear, we decide attribution in our reasonable discretion based on our records.
6. Reward payment
Referral Rewards are paid through PayPal or another payout method we designate in the app or by email. You are responsible for providing accurate payout details and for any fees, taxes, or account requirements of the payout provider.
We may require identity, tax, or account verification before paying a Referral Reward. We may hold, delay, or cancel payment if we need to review a referral for fraud, refunds, chargebacks, or policy violations.
Unless a different timing is shown in the app, we aim to process eligible Referral Rewards after the Qualifying Referral is confirmed and any applicable refund or chargeback window has passed. Processing times may vary. Pending rewards do not earn interest and are not transferable except as required by law.
Referral Rewards have no cash value until approved and paid. They are not gift cards, store credit, or Premium subscription credit unless we expressly say so.
7. Limits
We may set caps on the number of Referral Rewards you can earn in a period, the number of codes you may share, or total Program payouts. Any limits will be shown in the app or communicated to you.
We may withhold rewards that appear duplicate, abusive, or inconsistent with ordinary personal sharing.
8. Prohibited conduct
You agree not to:
- Create fake, duplicate, or misleading accounts, or refer yourself (including through aliases, family accounts created primarily to obtain rewards, or similar schemes).
- Use bots, scripts, purchased traffic, paid lead lists, or automated tools to distribute Referral Codes or generate signups.
- Spam, bulk message, or otherwise distribute Referral Codes in a harassing or unlawful way.
- Post Referral Codes on coupon, deal, or promo-code aggregation websites, or sell, auction, or barter Referral Codes, unless we give prior written permission.
- Misrepresent the Program, IGNITE, Premium pricing, trial length, or reward amounts.
- Interfere with attribution tracking, attempt to claim another person's referral, or otherwise manipulate the Program.
- Violate our Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, or applicable law in connection with the Program.
9. Verification, fraud, and enforcement
We may review referrals, accounts, payments, and device or usage signals to verify Program compliance. We may request additional information from you or a Referred User.
If we reasonably believe a referral or account violates these Program Terms, we may deny or reverse Referral Rewards, cancel Referral Trials, suspend Program access, and/or suspend or terminate related IGNITE accounts, without limiting other remedies.
Our Program records (including code attribution and purchase records) are conclusive for administering the Program, absent manifest error.
10. Changes, suspension, and termination of the Program
We may modify, suspend, or end the Program (or any reward, trial, or region) at any time, with or without notice, to the fullest extent permitted by law. This includes changing reward amounts, qualifying plans, trial length, payout methods, and eligibility rules.
If the Program ends, we will handle pending Qualified Referrals and approved unpaid rewards in accordance with the Program Terms then in effect and applicable law. We are not obligated to honor referrals completed after the Program ends, or offers that were never validly earned.
11. Taxes
You are solely responsible for any taxes that may apply to Referral Rewards you receive. Where required by law, we may report payments or withhold amounts. Provide any tax information we reasonably request.
12. Privacy
We process personal data related to the Program (including Referral Codes, attribution, and payout details) as described in our Privacy Policy. Do not share personal information of others without a lawful basis to do so.
13. Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE PROGRAM IS PROVIDED "AS IS." We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of codes, attribution, trials, rewards, or payouts, or that any particular friend will sign up or purchase Premium.
App Store and Google Play billing, refunds, and subscription management are handled by those platforms under their rules. We are not responsible for platform delays, billing errors outside our control, or a Referred User's failure to complete purchase.
14. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IGNITE AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE PROGRAM.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE PROGRAM WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE TOTAL REFERRAL REWARDS WE ACTUALLY PAID YOU IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) FIFTY POUNDS STERLING (£50) OR THE APPROXIMATE LOCAL CURRENCY EQUIVALENT.
Nothing in these Program Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under mandatory consumer protection law, including applicable UK, EEA, Portuguese, US, or Australian consumer rights where they apply.
15. Indemnification
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless IGNITE from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Program, your distribution of Referral Codes, or your violation of these Program Terms or applicable law.
16. Governing law
These Program Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence require otherwise. Dispute resolution and jurisdiction follow the corresponding provisions in our Terms and Conditions.
If you are a consumer, nothing in these Program Terms excludes or limits statutory rights that cannot be waived under the laws of your country of residence.
17. General
If any provision of these Program Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign your rights under the Program without our consent; we may assign these Program Terms in connection with a reorganization, merger, or sale of assets.
These Program Terms, together with the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and IGNITE regarding the Program and supersede prior discussions about referral offers, except for any specific in-app offer details displayed at the time of participation.
